Day 1 - Trivandrum Arrival - Kanyakumari (95 Km/ 3 Hrs. Approx.):
On arrival at the Trivandrum airport/railway station, meet our representative who will be there for your warm welcome and visit Sree Padmanabha swamy temple afterwards to transfer you to your already booked hotel in Kanyakumari. The day is for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 - Kanyakumari :
Morning after breakfast sightseeing of Kanyakumari - Kanyakumari is the southernmost end of Tamil Nadu, the Land’s End of India or the point where the three seas meet - the Bay of Bengal, The Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Later visit Kumari amman temple dedicated to the virgin goddess Kanyakumari (Parvati) who stands guard over the country. The temple is built at the spot where the goddess is believed to have waited for her consort Lord Siva. Visit Gandhi Memorial, constructed at the spot where the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi were kept for public view in an urn before a portion was immersed into the three seas. Visit Vivekananda Memorial built on the Vivekananda Rock where the great Philosopher and guide Swami Vivekananda went into meditation that transformed him into one of the most charismatic spiritual leader. Visit The Thiruvalluvar Statue, or the Valluvar Statue, is a 133-feet tall stone sculpture of the Tamil poet and philosopher Valluvar, author of the Tirukkural, an ancient Tamil work on secular ethics and morality. Overnight Stay at Hotel.
Day 3 - Kanyakumari - Rameswaram (310 Km/ 5-6 Hrs. Approx.):
After breakfast move towards Rameswaram one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India.The most sacred temple town of India is an island hallowed by the epic Ramayana, where Lord Rama is said to have visited before going into battle of Srilanka. The presiding deity is the Linga Of Sri Ramanatha Swamy, which happens to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of India. Ramanathaswamy Temple also has its name in history books as it has the largest hallway anywhere in India. There is this huge hallway that is of approximately 1220 meters in length. Throughout the length of the hall, there are brilliantly carved pillars, the alignment of which will leave you totally mesmerized.Visit Dhanushkodi. Overnight at the Resort/hotel.
Day 4 - Rameswaram :
After breakfast sightseeing of Rameswaram- Visit Sri Ramanatha Swamy temple,Pamban Bridge, Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam Museum, Sri Panchmukhi Hanuman temple, Villoondi Theertham etc. Overnight at the Resort.
Day 5 - Rameswaram - Madurai – Departure (175 Km/ 3 Hrs. Approx.):
Morning after breakfast check out the Hotel and proceed to Madurai.Visit the famous Madurai Meenakshi Temple. There are four entrances to this amazing temple complex set in six hectares. Hit one of the stone pillars in the complex with any hard object and feel incredible on hearing sweet metal sounds. It is known as musical pillars. The total number of pillars in the temple is a staggering one thousand. Later drop at Manamadurai Railway station.Tour ends with happy memories.
