Day 1 - GUWAHATI – MANAS NATIONAL PARK (ASSAM):
On arrival meet& Greet at airport.
After meet and Greet drive drive to Manas (178 Kms / 4 Hrs drive) and check in to hotel. Overnight in Manas.
Manas National Park, a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site, is located in the Himalayan foothills and is famed for being a habitat to Tigers and Golden Leaf Monkeys. The Manasriver flows through the National Park which acts an international border diving India and Bhutan. The Park is Project Tiger, Rhino & Elephant Reserve. Also visit Manas for its rare and endangered endemic wildlife such as the Assam Roofed Turtle, Hispid Hare, Golden Langur and Pygmy Hog. Not to forget, Manas is a birding paradise with more than 450 species of birds like Giant Hornbills, Pheasants, Jungle Fowl, Scarlet Minivet, Partridge, Florican and variety of water birds seen here.
Day 2 - MANAS (ASSAM) :
Early morning Elephant ride. After breakfast proceed for a jeep safari in the most beautiful point of Manas National Park – Mathanguri located amidst the gushing river and views of the misty Bhutanese Hills.
Overnight at Manas.
Day 3 - MANAS- NAMERI (265 KMS/5 ½ HRS):
After breakfast check out and drive to Nameri . Check in hotel. Evening enjoy with your free time. Overnight stay at nameri.
Nameri National Park is a national park in the foothills of the eastern Hi,malayas in the Sonitpur district of Assm. This is excellent elephant country and was considered to be an Elephant reserve. It is an ideal habitat for a host of other animals including the tiger , leopard, sambar, dhole (the Asiatic wild dog) , pygmy hog, Indian wild bison, clouded leopard, leopard cat, gaur , wild boar, sloth bear, Himalayan black bear, capped langur and Indian giant squirrel.
Nameri is a birdwatchers paradise with over 300 species. The white winged wood duck, great pied hornbill, wrathed hornbill, rufous necked hornbill, black stork, blue-bearded beeeaters,ploves and many other birds make Nameri their home.
Day 4 - NAMERI:
Toady early morning at about 05:30 A.M we set to explore the park on foot (3.2 kms), after the trek back to the camp. After having breakfast go for an exclusive rafting (mild rapids) trip on JiaBhorali River, flowing along the National park, for water birds. Return back to the camp.
Overnight stay at Nameri.
Day 5 - NAMERI – KAZIRANGA (90 KMS/2 ½ HRS):
After breakfast drive to Kaziranga. Evening enjoy a cultural dance show of Assam. Overnight at Kaziranga.
In Kaziranga to enjoy cultural show you have options, as some local youth organized Cultural show in Kohora in auditorium or open field and also you can go to Orchid And Biodiversity Park which is approx. 3 Kms far from Kohora(Main Market area). They usually organize 3 to 5 types of cultural dance along with famous Bihu dance. We suggest you not to MISS THE PROGRAM.
Day 6 - KAZIRANGA:
Early morning go for an Elephant ride (5.30 to 6.30/ 6.30 to 7.30).
After the ride return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, you will be taken to the Central Range / Western /range for one round of Jeep Safari. Afternoon visit Local Village & Tea Garden (Outer View) and to Orchid and Biodiversity Park.
Overnight at Kaziranga.
Day 7 - KAZIRANGA – GUWAHATI AIRPORT DEPARTURE (250 KMS/5 HRS):
After breakfast check out and drive Guwahati airport to connect to your return flight.
